WX Tables and Charts
The NWS for Dallas/Fort Worth has kindly put together some basic informational charts, well, thought I would share the links, since not everyone has this kind of information just stored in their head. Okay, you might, but I don’t. ;)
So, here we go:
http://www.srh.noaa.gov/fwd/?n=met_calc
And if you are looking specifically for Wind Conversion Chart (KTS to MPH or MPH to KTS even), here is the chart for that:
http://www.srh.noaa.gov/cwwd/msd/publicmarine/misc/windconv.htm
Here is list of charts/tables that I found there:
- Heat Index Charts
- By Temperature / Dewpoint
- By Temperature / Humidity
- Wind Chill Chart
- Temperature Conversion Charts
- -50°C to +5°C
- -5°C to +50°C
- Wind Speed Conversion Chart ( The separate link above )
- Weather Conversion Utility
- And a couple of other items as well!
And for those of you who are a little slow on converting (okay, I really did it for me, but makes me feel better to think that I am not the only one) zulu time to local time, here is link to conversion chart.
Edit: added zulu conversion link
