The space shuttle Atlantis was due to land at 6:21am. It takes from my house 2 1/2 hours to get to our spot at Space View Park. That is with all the construction happening on US 27 North in between us and I-4 plus the other normal slow-downs. So, giving that I wanted to be there at least 1/2 hour early to get setup, we left around 3:15am. That will give plenty of time plus extra leeway!

Or so we thought!

Okay, I have to give a big kudos to Andrea with Wimberley. She is awesome! Don’t ask how, it wasn’t pretty, but my head on my old tripod broke while I was trying to clean it. Well, the space shuttle Atlantis is due to arrive back home. I was there for the launch, I am going to be there for the landing, dammit! When checking for landing date and time, I noticed different dates. One for the 18th, the other for the 20th, both before the birds ever think about catching any worms! So, in case it’s the 18th, I need my stuff ASAP!
